Privacy Policy
Effective October 30, 2026
This policy explains what information Venconiq ("Venconiq," "we," "us") collects when you order food through Venconiq, how we use it, and the choices you have. Venconiq is operated by Venconiq LLC. It applies to our ordering pages (order.venconiq.com), our website (venconiq.com), the vendor tablet app and the vendor portal.
Information we collect
When you place an order:
- Your name, so the vendor can call out your order at pickup and so we can greet you in text messages.
- Your mobile phone number, so we can text you when your order is placed and when it's ready, if you agree to receive texts.
- Your order details: the vendor, the items you ordered, the amounts charged, and when the order was placed, paid, prepared and picked up.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number and other payment details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We receive only whether the payment succeeded and related transaction information. Stripe's use of your information is covered by the Stripe Privacy Policy. Stripe may use cookies and device information to prevent fraud.
- Technical information that our hosting providers record when your browser connects, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. We use it to keep the service running and secure.
The ordering page saves your current order number in your browser so you can return to your order status. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.
If you're a vendor: your business name, the owner's email address and login details, your menu and tax rate, and your Stripe account ID. Stripe collects your identity and bank details directly during sign-up. We don't receive your bank account information.
How we use your information
- To send your order to the vendor and show you its status.
- To process payments and refunds.
- To text you when your order is placed and when it's ready, if you agreed to receive texts.
- To give vendors records of their orders for their business and tax purposes.
- To answer questions, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep the service secure.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Text messages
We use your phone number only to send text messages about the order you placed. We do not send marketing texts. See our SMS Terms for details. Reply STOP to any message to opt out.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or your text message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except the text message provider that sends messages for us.
Who we share information with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- The vendor you order from receives your name and order details (items, amounts and times). Vendors don't see your phone number.
- Service providers that run parts of Venconiq for us, under contracts that limit how they use it: Stripe (payments), Surge (text messages) and Amazon Web Services (hosting and data storage).
- For legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our customers, vendors, Venconiq or others.
- Business transfers: if Venconiq is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that deal, under this policy's protections.
How long we keep it
- Phone numbers are automatically deleted from your order 30 days after it's placed.
- If you reply STOP, we keep your number on a do-not-text list so we don't text you again. Reply START to be removed from that list.
- Order records (your name, items, amounts and times, without your phone number) are kept so vendors have records of their sales and refunds.
- Checkouts that are started but never paid are deleted after 24 hours.
Security
All connections to Venconiq use HTTPS, and stored data is encrypted. Access to our systems is limited and protected with two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your choices
- Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.
- Ask us to access or delete information about you by emailing garrett@venconiq.com. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it, such as payment records.
Children
Venconiq is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We'll post the new version on this page and change the effective date above.
